MB218 Dual 18-inch Horn-Loaded Subwoofer

The MB series is a three-way two-driver linear array. MB212 is a 3-way passive design containing one 12-inch low-frequency driver, one horn-loaded 10-inch mid-frequency driver and two 1.4-inch exit high-frequency compression drivers. With 2.5-inch voice coils mounted on dedicated wave-forming devices, the structure and acoustic design allow flying vertical arrays of up to 24 speakers. MB218 is a high-performance subwoofer designed for ground stacking applications, equipped with two 18-inch long-throw drivers built into a band-pass horn cabinet design. With high sound pressure level and extended frequency response, MB218 is an ideal choice for any large sound reinforcement application. When operating in array mode, MB218 can complement other subwoofers by extending the frequency response of the system. When using three or any number of MB218 subwoofers, they can be placed in a cardioid subwoofer array to achieve impressive directional control at lower frequencies and significantly reduce the energy radiated to the rear.
